Scrappy Catch Up Time!

Wow, things have been so busy around here that it's been a while since I've posted new layouts. My designers have been cranking out some amazing designs the past few weeks and I've gotten a lot of scrapping done. I've also had a couple of new layouts published! I'm very excited about that!

First up, this layout, Milkshake, using 2 Straws by Traci Reed, Dani Mogstad, and Shawna Clingerman, and DJB Christine C by Darcy Baldwin will be in the March 09 issue of Artisan.

Then, I have another layout, using Always and Forever by Christy Lyle that will appear in the March 09 issue of The Daily Scrapper.

Now, onto the layouts. First up are some pages using the gorgeous designs of collabs featuring Scrapkitchen Designs.

FOB2Y-Birthday Edition

So today we're supposed to blog a bit about a memorable birthday. All birthdays are special around here...we love to celebrate together. Because my birthday is on kind of an awkward date (July 5), we sometimes end up doing unusual things. Last year, the 4th of July parade we always go to just happened to be on the 5th...so of course we went! It was a blast, even though it did rain for much of the parade. To me, the most important part of all is being with family. :)

Fun Challenge

Okay...so I was challenged by Amy to do this super fun game! You go into your photo files, find your 6th file, and the 6th pic in the file...and blog about it. So here goes.

This is baby Ryan...September 2003. He was 6 months old and such a little joy. This is is first ever bedroom--we were still in Burlington. I loved this room. He was almost ready to sit up and loved using the Boppy for sitting and propping, like he is here. I love this photo because he just looks so deep in thought! Memories....

Scrappy News and Sweet Shoppe Saturday

I've had a pretty good scrappy week!

I was super excited to get an email from Bella Scraps Magazine letting me know that one of my layouts has been published in their Jan. 09 issue.

It's actually one of my favorite layouts ever...so I'm thrilled that it was chosen for publication. :)

I also have some exciting CT news! I've been fortunate enough to join two fantastic CTs...ScrapKitchen Designs and Heather Roselli.

Snow Day!!!

SNOW!!! Yay! Finally we got a little snow. On Monday night, it started snowing. It was gorgeous! We even got Ry out of bed to show him how quickly everything was turning white. He was amazed. Caroline had to wait until morning to see, but both kids loved it and couldn't wait to get outside. We headed out before 9 am and played and played! It was a wonderful day! :)
