Yay, Happy Thursday everyone! Tonight is my little guy's last soccer game of the season. We're honestly a bit glad for it to be over, but we know he'll miss it. Spring will be here soon enough. Tomorrow is another exciting day...his class Halloween party and then the super exciting APP game. We have no clue what to expect except total craziness from the crowd! It's going to be a great few days!

Black Saturday!!!

What a week for football!

Today is Black Saturday at The Rock. That means 30,000+ people will come out in black, scream, yell, party, and have a blast cheering on our Apps. Today's Black Saturday contest brings Furman to Boone. They will be decked out in all their purpleness...intimidating? I think not. We're heading up to do some tailgating before the game...then we will file in with everyone else and spend the afternoon watching (hopefully) a great game. Now, we need the rain to hold off and the temps to come up just a tad. Fun stuff!

Tonight we have a fall carnival to go to...as much fun as the game? No. Will we go to keep the kids happy? Of course.

Saturdays are also super fun because it's New Release day at Sweet Shoppe!!! My designers have some super goodies this week.

Darcy, as usual, has outdone herself on the fonts. Love, Granny is one of my new all time faves, and Writes A Lot is a super font for all layouts. If you get them today, they're 20% off!!!

Bree was a busy lady this week. She came out with not 1, but 4 new products! Wow!!! All of these calendar goodies are the perfect way to start your custom Christmas gifts for your family and friends. These are just awesomeness.

Catch Up Time

Yikes! With all that's gone on the last few days, I've had no time to write. Catch up time!!!

Last Thursday, Ryan had another soccer game. He had another good game and seems to really love it still. Caroline is her normal, charming self at all the games. I got a few good shots of both kids at the game.

What a busy weekend! Friday was Ryan's first field trip ever...the zoo!!! Only, the zoo is 2.5 hours away AND it was cold AND it was raining. We were all good sports, though, and got through it. We even had a reasonably good time!

On Saturday, App played Georgia Southern at GSU. We couldn't go so we settled for watching the game on TV. It was some game...about a zillion lead changes, tons of heart-stopping moments, and really down to the wire. This game was a thriller, to say the least. From GoASU: "Writing perhaps the most dramatic chapter in the always-thrilling Appalachian State-Georgia Southern rivalry, No. 2 Appalachian took the lead with 2:36 to play and stood up GSU in the red zone twice in the final two minutes to hold on for a 37-36 win on Saturday afternoon at Paulson Stadium." Yep, that sums it up.

Saturday night, we decided to build a fire in the fire pit outside and roast hotdogs and marshmallows with the kids. They had so much fun! It was quite an adventure being outside so late.

Soooooooooooooo Sleepy...

Sunday was just a relaxing day...other than the 2 billion loads of laundry. The kids had so much fun with the hotdogs and marshmallows Saturday night that we had to do it again Sunday afternoon. Then, after dinner, we carved Bob the Pumpkin. He's pretty cute and the kids had a blast. They ran around singing and dancing for the longest time! The both hugged and kissed Bob several times...so Bob won't be living outside with the rest of the pumpkins...he's right here inside with us.

Caroline's 3rd Birthday Party...

We had C's birthday party on Saturday. She seemed to really have fun. She loves the attention and doesn't tend to shy away from it like Ry does. Here she is, posing before guests arrive:With Ry Ry:I got to hold both my babies on my lap...that doesn't happen so often anymore!Shane with Miss C: Here she is, Miss Birthday Princess...all dressed up in her fine jewels a lovely tiara:So this is the cake. My mom knows a lady who makes cakes and asked me a month or so ago if I'd let her get the cake this year. She finally talked me into it and she walked in the door with this pretty princess castle cake! Caroline was in LOVE!!!She didn't even want to open her gifts...all she wanted to do was eat some cake! Here she is, "sneaking" a lick.
Finally, she got a piece for her very own...it was delicious!
Her birthday was a success. She got a lot of cute little things and had a lot of fun with our family. It took all weekend to recover...for all of us! We were all exhausted. It was so worth it, though, to see how happy our little girl was! One last time for this year: Happy Birthday, Caroline!!!

Sweet Shoppe Saturday

Yay for Saturday! I love them for many reasons, one being that it's New Release day at Sweet Shoppe Designs! My 3 amazing SSD designers have great new products this week! They are all on sale today ONLY! Go check them out!

First, Penny has a three-way with La and Shawna. The threesome, known as Shaurenny, came up with my new favorite kit, Absolute Cherry Crush.

Here is my first of many LOs with this fab kit. I've also used Darcy's Scoop with Traci called Words to Scrap By and one of her new fonts, Janine. LO is linked for full credits.

Penny also has the 2 awesome sets of text paths, Text Pathapalooza I and II. These are super easy to use and look so cool on your pages!

Bree also came out with some awesome new Launch Pads. These are awesome for your hybrid albums, but can also be used in traditional layouts. These are great! (Images Linked)

Finally, Darcy teamed up with Traci for a 2 Scoops called Words to Scrap By. Her newest font packs are My Dear Marsha and Cursives. I love love love these fonts!!!
