Catch Up Time

Yikes! With all that's gone on the last few days, I've had no time to write. Catch up time!!!

Last Thursday, Ryan had another soccer game. He had another good game and seems to really love it still. Caroline is her normal, charming self at all the games. I got a few good shots of both kids at the game.




What a busy weekend! Friday was Ryan's first field trip ever...the zoo!!! Only, the zoo is 2.5 hours away AND it was cold AND it was raining. We were all good sports, though, and got through it. We even had a reasonably good time!

On Saturday, App played Georgia Southern at GSU. We couldn't go so we settled for watching the game on TV. It was some game...about a zillion lead changes, tons of heart-stopping moments, and really down to the wire. This game was a thriller, to say the least. From GoASU: "Writing perhaps the most dramatic chapter in the always-thrilling Appalachian State-Georgia Southern rivalry, No. 2 Appalachian took the lead with 2:36 to play and stood up GSU in the red zone twice in the final two minutes to hold on for a 37-36 win on Saturday afternoon at Paulson Stadium." Yep, that sums it up.



Saturday night, we decided to build a fire in the fire pit outside and roast hotdogs and marshmallows with the kids. They had so much fun! It was quite an adventure being outside so late.




Soooooooooooooo Sleepy...

Sunday was just a relaxing day...other than the 2 billion loads of laundry. The kids had so much fun with the hotdogs and marshmallows Saturday night that we had to do it again Sunday afternoon. Then, after dinner, we carved Bob the Pumpkin. He's pretty cute and the kids had a blast. They ran around singing and dancing for the longest time! The both hugged and kissed Bob several times...so Bob won't be living outside with the rest of the pumpkins...he's right here inside with us.
