Football

On Saturday, my Apps (that's Appalachian State University in Boone, NC, for those of you who don't know) went head to head with LSU at Death Valley. Of course we were hoping for another upset a la Michigan in the Big House, but it just wasn't to be. It was a mostly respectable game and it seems App escaped without any major injuries (except maybe to Pressley, backup QB), which was our biggest fear. The first home game is on Saturday, and we'll be there, in our nice parking space that we paid way too much for and in our usual seats on the west side. We are super excited to start another season of tailgating and fully expect App to return to the championship game in Chatty for the fourth straight year. Fun stuff.




So, in the spirit of football season, and sorely disappointed that he's not old enough to play real football, Ry has been all over playing game football in the backyard with Shane. It's just cuter than words.
